The Oliva Beach Resort occupies a great spot, on the sand dunes of Corralejo, with a superb range of activities and facilities on offer. Couples and families will enjoy this resort particularly.
Corralejo is the largest resort on Fuerteventura, with its huge beach, and fantastic nightlife. There is a large range of restaurants, bars and discos on offer, as well as what entertainment is on offer at the hotel.

This was our second visit to RIU Olivia Beach, have already recommened it to friends, we went first in Oct last year and returned with our friend this Feb.Like us they have stayed in many Riu hotels loving them all, excellent but the beach at this one put it top of our list. Bu my husband had be going on about the wonderful beach. They were not dissapointed, they said it was all he had said and more. The weather was a bit iffy but everything else was as always brilliant. Try the piano bar the music is suitable for all ages and we were able to dance the night away. This was our 7th visit to a Riu and have just booked for Morrocco in June at another Riu. Hope that is as good as all the others and that the beach is as good as this one.
Will definately return one day!

In May last year I stayed at this hotel for one week with a friend. If you like a lovely beach you will be overwhelmed at this hotels location. Check it out on google earth!! It is just surrounded in every direction by sand, sanddunes and volcanos. The sight from the dinning room window is surreal.
The staff are friendly and helpful. There is plenty of food on offer whenever you need it. Decent red, white and rose wine, beer, branded soft drinks and hot drinks available on tap in several locations, meaning no queues at the bar for your spirits and cocktails (which were branded makes not cheap imitations).
Our idea of holiday heaven as two females 30 - 40 years old, is sun by day and sangria by night! This was met at this location. We loved the endless beach and the pools by day. Although, typically, unless you get up at the crack of dawn to reserve a sun bed you may be disappointed.
By night the entertainment on offer was not really our thing. We stayed at the hotel for a few drinks each evening then headed off to town by taxi at around 11pm. There you will find a range of nightlife. Our favourite place was the wikkiki bar which got quite lively after midnight.
If you like watersports this location is perfect. Lots of kite surfing going on. But, this was not a safe swimming beach. I tried it a couple of times and felt the strong currents pulling me from my feet. I would worry if I had a young child with me.
The wind is also a factor. I found it quite pleasing as it took the edge off the heat. But be warned, you won't feel yourself burn. There were a lot of sunburnt people around the pool! My friend didn't like the wind at all therefor doesn't intend to return.
Overall this was the most stunning place I've visited so far and intend to return one day!
A final note, if you visit with young children, please be very aware of the currents!
