The Iberotel Luxor has a great choice of dining options; guests can relax on the terrace with a drink as they gaze at the stunning sunsets over the West Bank from this lovely location on the banks of the Nile. The hotel also benefits from being just a short stroll from the city centre.
The service at the hotel is very good, and guests will appreciate the friendly atmosphere. The building is set around a central covered courtyard with pretty gardens leading down to the river. This hotel has a unique swimming pool built on a floating platform, from which the Nile is reached through a connecting walkway. The recently refurbished Iberotel Luxor is a comfortable and tranquil place to stay for all who come here.

Holiday Review
The Iberotel in Luxor is an exellent base to see the sights of Luxor. It has a fantastic location on the banks of the Nile, with a very pretty garden leading down to the river. Although not as grand as some of the Luxor hotels it offers very good service in all areas of the hotel. The rooms are well equiped and the nile/west bank view has got to be one of the best available.Staff do not push for tips and are for the most part (85%) very efficient and obliging. It is clearly a hotel with an interest in maintaining high standards(the general manager is a nice guy who clearly takes time to ensure the best service and support for guests) and many other staff follow his example. We stayed for 2 weeks on an all inclusive basis and were very satisfied with the value for money this provided. It has to be said that the meals in the restaurant were a little lacking, but we were always able to find something from the choices available.Day time snacks were very good, I would recommend having lunch in the bar, which although not large, was a haven from the heat, and served exellent drinks,(the beer and soft drinks were in cans this can really be a bonus as mixer drinks from the tap in Egypt are pretty awful !). Room service was good and i was impressed with the laundry service. the pool area which floats on the Nile was of a good size and fresh towells and sunbeds were always available. Due to the proximity to the Nile there was an occasional problem with petrol fumes from nearby boats, but this has to be accepted with a working river. We ate in both of the A la carte restaurants, Italian and Chinese, both being of a good quality.l
Quality
A more than acceptable standard and overall deserves a four star rating.
Service
All round very good from reception to laundry.
Location
Right in the centre of the action for Luxor. A short walk from Luxor temple, the Old Winter Palace and the market area.
Food
Safe, well cooked, if a little samey.
Entertainment
As in most Egyption hotels a little on the sparse side, although the duo in the bar at night were quite good.
Not a lot going on in the day and the evening acts need reviewing.
