Holiday Review
This hotel looks great when you get there, but that is all. When we returned in October it took us 3 weeks to get over the runs with cramps, I lost 10lbs my husband over a stone. I have been to Egypt many times and have never suffered before. Everyone you spoke to was having the same problems, some being sick as well.
We could not wait to get home, when you asked they said it's because you may have not drunk enough bottled water, yet that was all I seemed to drink as I was worried I may dehydrate. There is definitely an underlying problem in what could be a very nice place.
Well I hope if you have booked you cancel, I saw there was sickness on the reviews but like most people thought it can't be that bad, well it is!
Quality
There is nothing I can say as there really was no quality, we could not eat or drink for a at least eight days, the most we could manage was dry rolls and black coffee, also bottled water!
Location
Average, not a lot outside the complex.
Food
The food looked very nice, I can't fault the look and the variety, but there is something badly wrong with hygeine in the back where we do not get too see, otherwise so many people would not be running for the toilets.
Entertainment
There was entertainment but it was the same two women each and every day singing the same songs, after the third night we just went back to our room!

| Hazel said, "We have recently returned from Sharm on a cruise/stay holiday booked through fast track holidays. The stay part of our holiday was to be arranged by You Travel. We were put in so called 4* Sharm holiday resort which was anything but 4* and after so dispute we were told we were being upgraded to Houza Beach resort. It was an improvement on the first hotel but definately not 5* as we were advised. As previous review says nice setting good staff very friendly and good hotel reception staff and service but hotel facitlities let them down. small bar inside reception but not good seating. Large screen tv in reception area (for what tv's in rooms) a larger bar area and perhaps some music of some sort would have been nice in the evening. Entertainment laid on in evening more for teenagers !
Food in main restuarant was not very good (we think a lot of it was laid on for russian tourists at hotel) salad mostly grated carrot,grated cabbage,beetroot in sauce,cucumber only saw tomatoes once and never lettuce ! We also had to join the rugby scrum at every mealtime to get food (it appears there is no please or thank you in the russian mentality just the need to get as much food on your table or plate as possible. Breakfast ended up being the most enjoyable meal. sometimes at lunch and dinner we were filling up on bread or desert. When fruit appeared you needed to be really quick or the russians had devoured it all.
The waiters in the restuarant were really nice. we felt sorry for the way they were treated by some at the hotel.
The staff looking after the rooms also kept them clean and were friendly as were the shopkeepers and bar staff around the pool and beach.
