This is a great hotel although it is starting to look a bit tired. Avoid this time of year as it is full of American Students on vacation from Cairo, they are brash, loud and very rude and don't care about how much noise they make and at what time of day they do it at, there were a lot of complaints to the management who did nothing, both years. This does let this hotel down, it is a bit tired looking but don't let that put you off, we love it and its so close to the amenities of Namma Bay, you can't get a better spot for the night life. The best about the Namma Bay is the staff they can't do enough for you, we had a 2 year gap between visiting and Mohammed the bell boy still remembered us from 2 years before. He was Fab! I would return to this hotel sadly at a different time of year, when the students aren't there. The Management need to get to grips with this as it must be costing them loss of money(scaring off the good holiday makers) as there are no amount of complaints and these students have no respect for the hotel and its furnishings. It is in desperate need of a face lift especially the bottom pool avoid this and go up to the top pools the service is so much better there, and any way its more peaceful. If you like "not posh" and in the heart of everything pick this hotel. The Tropitel Naama Bay was in the centre of Naama Bay, opposite the Naama Center which is a big shopping complex worth visiting! The food was lovely, the staff were very friendly even if you didn't tip them, the weather was lovely and there were so many other great points about the holiday.
