The Voyager Beach Resort is located right on Nyali Beach, and is perfect for nautical minded individuals who want to holiday on dry land. The hotel is entirely built on a ship theme, with features such as decks, cabins and dinner at the Captain's Table. There are a host of activities on offer, including the popular fun and sports pool. There is also a relaxed pool too, for those who would rather just kick back and soak up the sun.
In the evening, meals are served with a certain theme, depending on where the ship-hotel may have been on its virtual cruise during the day - expect a great variety of dishes. There is another seafood restaurant on offer too. The cocktail bar is a perfect place to finish the day before retiring to the cabins for night.

The voyager Hotel........
Me & my friend Hayley arrived in Kenya in september 2007 First arriving in the streets of mombasa obviously to begin our journey to the The voyager beach Resort Hotel. My first impression of the hotel was wow it's amazing the people were so warm & very welcoming our room was cozy as it was a view room to the main swim bar and you could see what was going on without leaving your room. The food was very nice but in all honestly Im very fussy with food even being in England but If your not akward like me there's many choices to choose from which I found very lovely and easy for me. The entertainment was very good mornings it would be morning fun in the fun pool with the animation Team (The guys dressed in yellow) which started with aquaaerobics followed by various activities from volley ball to A beach walk which led all the way lunch, in the afternoons it would be either games such as football on the beach, dancing or even bingo in the swimming pool areas. The night entertainment was fantastic The animation team either got a band in which was called the coconut band, one night the masamara crew came into the hotel which was outta this world, and the other nights the animation would put together a play acted by theirselves which in all honesty were brilliant my Favorite was 'The Lion King & Hayley's was Cats'. Overall my trip to kenya was amazing the only sad bit was leaving & saying goodbye to our new friends, The new friends who made us very welcoming and At home. Me & Hayley were due to go back the the voyager on the 16th feb 08 but because of the political unrest our hoilday got cancelled but were looking forward to booking our next visit once again asap at 'The Voyager' so we can have yet enjoy another amazing experience.

I have been a visitor to the Voyager Hotel and can honestly say in many of my travels the service and courtesy would be hard to beat anywhere. At all times all of the staff have gone out of their way to make sure any request is seen to also if it is something out of the normal they will do their best to facilitate you. Enough to say that I am a regular visitor to Kenya and if I stay ina hotel it is always the Voyager and I also reccommend it to my friends. I don't believe in just promoting something unless you can stand by it and I would have no hesitation in sending anyone there whether for a family holiday or couple or just peaceful you have all these options covered plus it is very near to Mombasa town and that place is so full of history and interests. Don't forget you also have the option of Safaris and Tsavo I have been to on many occasions and it is only about 2 hours maybe bit more, but certainly worth it. Unfortunately I am not adventurous in food but for anyone who likes to taste different foods or into fresh fish their chefs are brilliant you would be spoilt for choice. The only sad thing I have to say is that one has to leave and can't stay and be looked after forever !!
