The Riad Fabiola benefits from rooms which blend traditional and modern furnishings, creating a great atmosphere in which to unwind. On chillier evenings the lounge makes an inviting retreat, with a long, white sofa and charming fireplace. Warmth is added by the soft green walls and the vibrant red rug, whilst the good-sized contemporary mirror uses light from the traditional windows to illuminate the room. Bedrooms here are compact and impressively well-kept, benefitting from colourful linen and modern furnishings. Moroccan accents are brought in to the stylish decor with dramatic bright woven wall hangings. The staff here are friendly and able to answer any questions about where to visit. This comfortable, fresh accommodation provides fabulous accommodation from which to visit the famous Djemaa el Fna Square and the nearby souks.
The Riad Fabiola offers a stylish blend of modern and traditional design; the stunning craftwork of the old building can be seen from the cool courtyard in the centre of the Riad. Its clean white walls reflect the light, which bounces off the ornate, hand-carved plasterwork of the arches; the dark, hand-made wrought iron balustrades around the open air corridors of the loftier levels provide a striking contrast.
Guests can recline on a deckchair or on a cosy sofa in an intimate corner of the courtyard as they gaze at the four majestic palm trees that border the inviting little pool. This makes a fantastic place for a cooling dip; after dark, pretty coloured candles, chic star-shaped lanterns high in the alcoves, and authentic Moroccan lanterns illuminate this soothing area.
Star-shaped wall lamps continue this theme on the flower-filled rooftop terrace, romantically lighting the charming seating area. Guests can enjoy vistas of the glowing Red City from this wonderfully high vantage point, and by day, panoramas stretch as far as the misty Atlas Mountains in the distance. The patchwork of city rooftops and the minaret of the Koutoubia mosque add to the lovely view, making this a stunning retreat.

Having visited the real and genuine Riad Fabiola in Marrakech I am intrigued to know where these images were sourced and I am endeavouring to find out. Having booked on the strength of these as shown in the tour operators brochure we were, to say the least, bitterly disappointed. Would not recommend
