The Riad Lotus Ambre is part of the Riads Lotus group, which comprises prestigious, exquisite boutique hotels. This lovely accommodation is a world away from the dark narrow alleys deep in the medina of El Hamra, and offers an atmosphere of style, tranquility and light.
This magnificent Riad has been immaculately looked-after, and offers cool marble, intricate mosaics, gilt frames, velvet chaise longues, silverware and high-technology to ensure guests enjoy there time here. The traditional courtyard lies at the heart of the Riad, with a lotus fountain flanked by a neat little oasis of plants and low shrubs, with a sweet-smelling orange tree adding to the ambiance of understated elegance. The enticing roof terrace has potted plants and flowers high up on it; this pretty decoration is also scattered throughout the Riad.
Holidaymakers here can enjoy vistas over the rooftops of the medina from the roof terrace, as well as across to the snow-capped High Atlas mountain range, making this a fabulous place for relaxation and contemplation. Guests at this lovely escape can soak up the sun from the sunbeds or play a game of backgammon in the opium-den-style tented area. There are bamboo and white cushined daybeds and a whirlpool bath to make the roof terrace a stunning place to unwind.
The Riad offers four unique rooms and one suite. These have all been decorated stylishly with carefully chosen objets d'art and Warhol prints that reflect famous people throughout history from across the globe. The Mao room has black lacquered furniture, cool jade-green accents and Chinese urns, whilst the Marilyn room has several iconic prints on its walls. The Goethe room is decorated with portraits of the German author, poet and philosopher, as well as a leopard skin that lies in front of a traditional exposed brick fireplace.
The Arabie room is the only room without Warhol's influence, and features dramatic black and white portrait photography on the warm, taupe coloured walls. There is a beautifully-carved wooden cabinet and a rich red velvet chaise here, making this a mesmnerising choice. The Kennedy suite could be seen as the most decadent, and offers guests a massive four-poster bed that dominates the master bedroom, with two other beds in seperate rooms. All of the rooms have ultra-modern entertainment centres that include satellite television, DVD and CD players. Guests can also make the most of a well-stocked library of books, CDs, DVDs and backgammon boards, making this a very special Moroccan holiday.

Holiday Review
Me and my wife like to go to Marrakech once a year for a few days.
In the meanwhile it is the 8th time we been in this town.
We prefer to stay in a riad because this is much more Marocco than a classic hotel.
To be honest; This is the best place we have done in all those years.
Quality
Everthing is high quality : the rooms, the service, the food ...
Service
Excellent staff and very professionel
Location
At 5 minutes from the place.
Sometimes riads are very hard to reach.
This one is on the bord of the medina and the access is easy.
