The Hotel Tour Khalef offers a friendly atmosphere in sub tropical gardens close to the pale sands of the Mediterranean. This excellent base is a great place to unwind in; more adventurous guests can take the short trip to the old town of Souse with its vibrant medina and bazaar and haggle playfully over traditional Tunisian handiwork.
Sousse centre is just three kilometres along the beach, and the grounds are shared with three hotels which are part of a complex of Marhaba hotels that share facilities.

Holiday Review
We went to the Tour Khalef twice and really enjoyed our holiday both times we were there. The staff were really friendly and attentive and helped to make our stay relaxing and fun.
Quality
The room and the general cleanliness was really good.
Service
Excellent, especially the first time we stayed when my husband became ill.
Location
Loved the location, right on the beach and a short distance from town.
Food
Basic tourist fare not haute cuisine but adequate and value for money.
Entertainment
The entertainment during our first stay was good; second time it was geared more to the long stay older guests.

Holiday Review
This is a great hotel and place to visit this is my second trip to the hotel. The group of people i were with have been visiting this hotel for over thirty years the service in this hotel is excellent you couldn't ask for anything else. It is in a very good area it is in the middle between port el kantoui and sousse medina you are far away from the hussel and bussle but you still feel very close to most areas. It is in a good area close to all the tourist spots. It is a must to go and use the local train service, we went to Hammermet on the train which was great fun it is what i call a Micheal Payling moment that still exists you no. My rep was called Ben he was great he was so helpfull he was very knowledgeable.
Quality
The Quality of the hotel is wonderful you couldnt ask for any more. The hotel is very clean and tidy the cleaning staff need a medal for putting up with the very strict over see they under go in the reception are of what i saw they were watch very closely by heads of claening. All the staff are fantastic they were friendly and very helpfull.
Service
The service at the reception was wonderful, the bank staff were great they were always there to answer any questions. Charlie who was are waiter made the trip very enjoyable he was very knowledgeable and very helpful and also needs a promotion after 20sh years.
Location
The location is excellent you are close to most of the tourist places. It is only a short trip to port el kantoui and sousse medina the taxi's are so cheap. The tourist train is very easy to flag down you can catch one every 20mins. This is a perfect area it is quiete you feel close to every where but it isnt noisy.
Food
The food is good , there tends to be alot which is the same over my stay. I could always find some thing different to eat as there is a wide range. They tend to cater more for the German Russian people at breakfast time there was no bacon on the menu.
Entertainment
There is a good entertainment program, there is a good choice there is always some thing for everyone and age.

we went to sousse and stayed at the tour khalef, i have travelled to many places and this hoilday was the best by far! its very cheap and the people are very friendly and helpfull. I am going back to the hotel tour khalef in june 2008 and i cant wait.I also took my little girl last year and they are very child friendly. The beaches are wondefull and very clean i would advise any body thinking about tunisia should go and stay at the tour khalef or one of there other hotels as i have heard some of the hotels in tunisia are not very nice. This is a very family holiday its brill! but watch out for those russians some of them are pigs and very rude!!!!!!!!!!!
