The owners can recommend the best places to go for an evening out, whether for a meal, a few drinks, or the opportunity to hear traditional music.

Offering a relaxing break for guests looking to relax, there is a log fire in the living room and a swimming pool outside. There is also plenty to do in the surrounding area, including rafting, trekking, horse riding and expeditions.

This is a fantastic place to stay, it is really friendly. Superb excursions are available with an English-born Spanish-speaking guide.

45 minutes outside Salsa. In the small town.

Nice breakfast. The best restaurant in town was just across the street. Surprisingly good for such a small town, real quality.

I stayed at Poncho Huasi with a group of friends. It's a lovely old house converted into a cosy B&B with surprisingly luxurious rooms that should cost a lot more than they do. Nick and Alisia's hospitality is second to none, we felt like we were in a 5 star hotel. The weather looked a bit gloomy as we arrived, but cleared up in the afternoon to allow a few hours of relaxing poolside lounging. Thoroughly recommended.
