The Coral Canoa Beach Resort and Spa is tucked on the coast, and benefits from a wonderfully idyllic location flanked with majestic coconut palms, stunningly white sands and translucent turquoise waters. Guests here can recline on the beach and sink their toes into the sands as they relax with a good book and a cool drink. There is plenty to keep all entertained at the beach, including kayaks, snorkelling and windsurfing, meaning that there is something here to keep everyone happy.
The cuisine here is fabulous; guests can enjoy a variety of flavours at the La Piragua buffet, tuck into a hearty flame-grilled steak at the Santa Fe grill, or make the most of a steaming plate of spaghetti and parmesan at the lovely Rigolleto Pasta Club. There are plenty of activites on offer, including badminton, yoga, volleyball and a gym to provide holidaymakers with ample ways to stay in shape. The pool is a fabulous place to relax, surrounded by palm trees and flanked by bars with thatched roofs to form a tropical oasis with a calming and leisurely atmosphere. Guests can pull up a sunlounger, unroll a towel and enjoy some time to themselves here.
The Coral Canoa Beach Resort and Spa is a Hilton hotel, meaning that the attention to detail in the accommodation is outstanding. The rooms have king-size beds or two doubles, and come complete with great features such as coffee-making facilities, satellite televisions and fridges, as well as air-conditioning. With its superb location, facilites and accommodation, this is the perfect place for a tranquil getaway.

The rooms were a good size but in need of serious updating, as was the bathroom and the fridge. The most annoying was the problem solving, towel changes were not carried out, nor were the provision of water and soda. We found that we spent most of our stay begging for these things. The beach was nice with in the roped area, but rubbish was seen along the edge of the beach and never seemed to move. Getting a drink from the bar was also difficult since little english was spoken there....this was indeed a problem for us.
The holiday rep prefered to excuse most of the problems as being a very busy time. Every week end is a public one, the locals come in and it turns in to buttlins. This caused a lack of food in the restraunts and difficulties in booking. Not a place we shall be returning to...the last few comments are good...they were rebuilding some of the blocks, renewing some of the fittings, just not in the block we were in. Happy holidays....
