good resort but went on the week of april 23 to 31 the day we got back my wife got sick stomach pains do not want to get to personal and bleeding etc took her to the emergency took some test starting to feel better but now other problems back to hospital she has some type of parasite they are still doing tests and these things are visable in certain ways you get the picture we are thinking it was the fruit in her drinks not totally sure do not want to ramble on or scare anyone but be careful.

we have just returned from the sunscape casa del mar,where we went on a cruise and stay holiday with royal caribbean.The complex was fabulous plenty of variety for eating two lovely swimming pools plenty of areas to walk and ride bikes tennis courts mini golf and croquet we also went out on kayaks everyday.The service we received was excellent in all areas the only dissappointment we had was the quality of our rooms which were in need of refurb,the bathroom had rusty taps paint flaking from the bath and a faulty toilet cistern,the wardrobe doors didn,t shut and the general condition of furniture was poor, however it was clean and we had air conditioning the maid service was good and all staff really helpful.We booked a trip to Saona Island which was great value and a fantastic day out i would reccomend anyone who goes here to take this trip,you go out by speedboat and return by catamaran.We also enjoyed an evening on the beach where tables were laid out and all the food prepared and served on the beach.I certainly would reccommend this holiday to anyone we had a brilliant time.

The holiday was booked 5 weeks before we went via Airtours internet site.Received everything except the final invoice which in there bold words on the receipt when you do get it" You must carry a copy of your final invoice with you on holiday".This gave us a problems at the check in and delayed others behind us until the infromation of who we were was clarified.( The final reciept came a week after we got home)
Arrived at the room and the place was of the highest standard but it was only a year or so from being built so it should have been good.Luggage came by Bell Boy and he went away happy with a $5 bill.
The biggest let down on booking in was the information that the main pool area was closed for total refurbishment(we were there for 2 weeks and it was not finished when we left)
Ther was a 2nd pool but much smaller and the area lost by the main pool put more people on the beach and around the smaller pool.You had to be up before 8am to claim a sun bed on the beach or you stuggled from there on.
Food very good, service from the staff at times was poor, holiday was average by others we have had and there are lots of bad reports on this complex. My advice would be look else were for a better quality holiday.

aint even been yet but dreading it thanx to thomson changing the plane.be very aware they seem to get away with this.only agreed to long haual cos of decent seating but now in normal plane and we can do nothing!!!no recompense as they say we didnt pay extra but i paid for what i thought i was getting.dont use them ...i wont again!
