This hotel has a stunning setting, with its perfect palm tree, golden sand and blue sea combination. The grounds are as spectacular also, with water features, flamingos and flowers aplenty, surrounding the lagoon-like swimming pool. The building itself is a wonderful jungle affair, with modern fittings and and decorated in bright Caribbean colours.
There are a range of different activities on offer here, such as the great tennis and basketball facilities. The food here is second to none, including a carvery, pasta buffet and a la carte restaurant.

We went to the Iberostar in the Dominican last year along with another family (7 of us at first) then we were joined by my sister and her family. This hotel is sheer luxury. From the moment we got there we were treated like royalty. Nothing is too much trouble for any of the staff and the daily entertainment team made the holiday such fun. At first we just wanted to chill, but as you get used to the surroundings it was such fun to join in. We had 5 teenagers with us ,16 to 19 and they loved joining in with the daily competitions. By the end of the holiday every one of us had won at least one certificate and prize. It is a real laugh and you dont get pressured to join in if you dont want to. Scooby, spider, superman, Coco, and Victor were like good friends by the time we left. They work so hard to make everybody happy from morning till night. The party goes on as long as you want it to. The entertainment is fantastic. Dont miss the Lion King show- just as good as the West End. The restaurants are plentiful, lavish, scrumptious food and excellent service. The bar staff are very friendly and if you tip them they really look after you. Cocktails, wine champagne it is all available. The nightclub is a must see. The big guy is the dj and he is really funny and plays some good music. The youngsters used to go there when we were going to bed! All in all this was a fantastic holiday and we cant wait to go back. We know friends and family that have been there 4 times already. The maids love to receive little gifts as a tip and we took plenty of beauty products and hair slides etc as these things are expensive over there. We didnt need to spend any money only on tips which is optional but the staff certainly earnt them in our opinion. We will be backsooner rather than later. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

This was our thiord visit to the Dom Rep, and can honestly say that it was truly amazing. From the minute you arrive, you feel like you are in total luxury - flamingoes at the reception bar, beautiful landscaping etc.
The room was perfect, and the mini bar stocked with extra if you tipped the staff. Food was fantastic, especially breakfasts.
What truly made our stay was the entertainment staff. superman and his team were awesome and had time for everyone. (my eldely parents visited after us, and they made their time special too).
Nightime entertainment better than at most all inc hotels.
Didn't spend any time at the pool as it was too hot - there is a great breeze at the beach, which makes it much more comfortable to spend yout time there. anyway, you can spend time at a pool anywhere.
trip to Paradise island was well worth the long bus trip, cannot describe how fanatastic the snorkelling was there.
would we go back, almost definitely, but in a few years when we've seen som other places in the world first.
fabulous

Flight was long ,but i knew it would be :( but it was well worth it.The hotel was lovely, beautiful gardens , fantastic swimming pool . Good size room and very clean .The food was lovely, there was so much, and lots of variety and you could eat and drink 24 hours a day if you wanted even the mini bar had beer coke and water( all free if you are all inclusive.) .Friendly and helpful staff.
We did go out on an excursion which was very informative of local history ie how the mountain people live, how they make coffee from the fresh beans. They make beautiful ornaments out of rocks only using a file and a knife! and you can buy them to take home .We also saw where the film Jurassic park scene was taken from it was beautiful .There was lots of other things to do but we just wanted to chill.I hope you enjoy it as much as we did :)
