Overlooking the Bay of Playa Linda you'll find the Barcelo Costa Cancun. This lovely, Mediterranean-style complex has a great position on the beachfront and offers a spacious pool area, luscious tropical gardens and comfortable rooms. The Barcelo Costa Cancun has a great range of facilities and is set in the heart of the hotel zone.

Holiday Review
I've just got back from a week at this hotel with my daughter. We had a thoroughly good time apart from her having a jet ski accident which was the fault of a nutty Scot.
Go on one of the pirate ships - it's quite expensive, but good fun and good food with plenty to drink.
Quality
The rooms was very nice with extremely comfortable, clean beds. The bathroom was also very nice. However, I can't help thinking that the whole place could do with a lick of paint.
I'd say it was just about 4 star. They should invest in better pool side beds and beach beds and towels.
Service
All the staff were extremely helpful, pleasant and co-operative.
Location
Fairly good location - lots of restaurants just a short stroll away. Or just a short taxi ride to where it is more lively.
Don't take pesos, take US dollars - you'll get more for your money. Airport shopping for alcohol and cigarettes, etc. is very cheap.
Food
The food was excellent and you'd have to be extremely fussy or food ignorant if you couldn't find anything you like.
Entertainment
The entertainment was nearly non-existent. A few things going on during the day which didn't appeal to me. There were a couple of singers in the bar of an evening... I can't sing, but could probably do a better job. They were so bad it was funny!

would like to say it was a fantastic hotel and the staff were excellent, pita who works behind the bar got me drunk with a wicked cocktail, if you dont love this place you are boring.....also met a lovely couple from oldham gaz n tina, quality. also beach football champion. dazza with two wonder strikes.cant wait to go back soon. up the yorkshire people and lets all av a disco... up the owls
also the beach bar is the shizzle.. chuff me wot a place
