Either way the Playacar Palace has something for everyone. In addition to the hotel's great facilities there is a selection of top notch golf courses for the sporty. The fabulous circular pool and sun terrace or the gentle sand lapped by pure aquamarine waves both provide an excellent place to unwind and relax.
The hotel is near to the centre of Playa del Carmen and it is only a ten minute walk to Playa Del Carmen's 5th Avenue with its shops, bars and restaurants. There is also a complimentary shuttle to sister Moon Palace resort and the Cancum hotel zone.

A group of 8 of us went to playacar Palace. The hotel is vey modern and beautiful. The staff are fantastic. The food was varied and excellent. We were there 2 weeks and never had the same meal twice even though there are only 3 restaraunts. The beach varies throughout the year but we were lucky as it was more than adequate. The rooms were beautiful. Inclusive mini bar which included soft drinks, water, Smirnoff and other spirits. The sea view from the balcony is amazing. Room service came in very handy. My son used regularly for midnight snacks. One night he ordered chocolate cake with cream. They rang straight back to ask which kind of cream he wanted ! When we went out on the trips we asked for bottles of water from the bar to take with us which was no problem at all. When we went to the beach the waitresses even brought drinks down to the beach to us. We didn`t even need to order she just brought our usual ! The trips from the hotel were good. They offer lots of extra`s such as quad biking and horse riding. I didn`t know and so had not taken enough cash for everything we wanted to do but it was not a problem as they charged it to our room. All in all we wanted for nothing, our every need was taken care of. We will definately be going again in the future.
