The accommodation is on the beachfront, six kilometres from Playa del Carmen and fifty kilometres from Cancun. There is a free shuttle service to Playa del Carmen.

My partner and i recently returned from Mexico, Riveria Maya.
We went for 1 week and our expectations were absolutly 100% higher than we imagened.
Sandos Caracol Beech Resort...
Would recommend to couples and family's. We are a young couple in our 20's & Early 30's and we thought it was fantastic.... Nothing is too much trouble for the staff there, endless amounts of food and drink so be sure to go fully inclusive.... You wont regret it!!!
See them all again in 2009.....

Set out off a main road, however the resort has every thing you need.
We only left the resort to go out on excursions every thing you need is within a 5 minute walk in your resort, Every this is self contained.

Different show each evening in the Theatre, this is a open bar with seating facilites for you to watch the entertainment "free" as you are all inc you need pay no extra for anything else.

Staff in the hotel were very friendly,everyone from cleaners, gardeners,security,to managers everyone would greet you as you past them. The food and choice of it was excellent from mexican to european available every evening. Then there was the choice of alacart italian, chinese, steak house, and seafood. Not to forget the barby on the beach every day. Choice of drinks also good with things like smirnoff vodka and gordons gin with no extra charge. Rooms were cleaned every day and mini bar refilled. Only not so good thing i could say is we seemed to lose a few items of clothing from our room. There are safety deposit boxes in rooms free of charge. Entertainment was the same program for the first week to the second week so having seen it there was not much to do in the evening.
