We highly recommend this place for families or couples. We have married for 15 years and just wanted a break from our hectic life with the kids (age 10 & 13) and this was it. I have always said I will not take my kids out of the country in case they would become ill what would I do but I would take them here. It was very safe, clean and friendly. The air and the safe in our room didnt work and they gave us a hard time about changing rooms. They wanted to fix it so we wasted half a day while they try and it still didnt work. The food was bad sat out all day, I saw a caca roach so needless to say afer that i didnt eat anything at the resort. They had a concrete wall covered up by sand and my sister fell and sprained her ankle and they said it wasnt there fault. We went on an excursion and the bus that was supposed to pick us up came 2 hours late. It was AWEFUL DONT EVER GO TO CATALONIA RIVIERA MAYA. YOU WILL REGRET IT.
