Located near to the tranquil spa park in the centre of Bad Hofgastein's pedestrian area, is the delightful family-run Österreichischerhof hotel. If you fancy the ultimate chance to unwind then head over to the fabulous resort thermal spa, the Aplen Therme, which offers free entrance for all guests and includes a spa area with indoor pool, sauna, steam room and small fitness room. For a small local charge guests can enjoy spa treatments, solarium and a massage. There is a great variety of in-house spa treatments including a radon thermal bath, a stanger bath, peat packs, thermal-inhalation, partial and full massage, reflex zone massage and lymphatic vessel massage. You can take advantage of individual wellness packages. To reach the spa you must go through the convenient underground passage connecting it to the hotel - this allows you to change in the comfort of your room before walking through in your robe. For something a bit more active why not take part in some of the selection of activities available throughout the week, included a guided walk, normally led by your host Felix. Or why not head to the attractive lounge with open fire with a book and truly chill out.

If all that relaxing makes you feel hungry then look no further - this hotel has a great variety of food on offer. To start your day there is a delicious buffet breakfast and to keep you refreshed throughout the morning and afternoon you can head over to the cafe/bar for a cooling drink. When evening rolls around you can indulge in a 4-course evening meal with a choice of main course and daily salad buffet. Every other week you can enjoy a speciality dinner with occasional live music - not to be missed.
