The Alpenhof is a friendly British run hotel found in the heart of Ellmau just 100m's from the main road, with Ellmau's golf course directly opposite the hotel. The hotel provides guests with a good standard of accommodation in modern and comfortable rooms,with many guests returning year after year . The Alpenhof hotel has a great selection of facilities with delicious food,the perfect position and the friendly British staff provide a great service.
There are 20 bedrooms which have all been equipped with a private bath or shower,wc,satelite TV and a many have a balcony too with views of the Wilder Kaiser mountains.They have quad rooms sleeping 204 that consist of a room with Austrian twin beds and twin sofa bed or bunk beds,a private bath or shower and a wc. The family quad rooms also sleep 2-4 and have two rooms with twiin beds a private bath and a wc. The family rooms can accommodate 2-6 and have either quad with Austrian twin and bunks and a seperate twin room (RM5), or three seperate rooms,a double,an Austrian twin and a twin with seperate beds (RM7). Both of the rooms have private en suites with a bath and a wc.
PLease note that the hotel does not have a lift and rooms 11,12,16 and 19 are eaves rooms.
All the meals are delicious starting the day with a buffet breakfast, there are packed lunches available on request for midday lunch and in the evening there is a three course evening meal,six nights of the week. Don't miss the speciality dinner held weekly.
With so many great facilities you will be spoilt for choice with an attractive garden, free outdoor car parking, a modern lounge and reception area, and a 'Husky's Bar' for a drink or two of an evening.
Look out for the money savers with free tea/coffee and cake in the afternoons daily, free and reduced child prices for the 2-11 years inclusive when sharing with two adults. No single room supplement all season and a free quarter of a litre of house wine or soft drinks with your evening meal.
