The world famous ski area of Kitzbuhel gives you nearly 170 km of varied runs across the main areas, and the smaller area of Kitzbuhelerhorn. It is such an attractive resort to skiers due to the recent addition of the amazing tricable gondola, 3S Bahn, the Hahnenkamm/ Pangelstein and Jochberg/ Resterhohe, meaning there is now easy access to the whole extensive ski area.The largest resort in the ski area, Kitzbuhel shows off a stunning historical pst, and many attractions like casino's, restaurants, bars, and trendy boutiques. The famous Hahnenkamm race was held here in January, bringing large scale attention from spectators, racers and the media. Buying the right lift pass will ensure that you make the most of neighbouring areas like the Kitzbuhel area and the Ski Welt (Westendorf, and on into Soll, Scheffau and Ellmau) for those keen skiers eager for more of a challenge. As well as the bustle and hub of activity and nightlife, to the south of Kitzbuhel there are many smaller villages, where you can experience a quieter, more relaxing time. From Kitzbuhel centre, the Hotel Tirolerhof is around 2 km, set in a rural location. Getting to the slopes is not a problem, with a regular ski bus which will take you to Kitzbuhel, and in the evening a shuttle bus is offered to hotel guests. Steeper up the mountain you will find the picturesque cenre of the village of Aurach, which provides handy amenities, and more facilities like bars, restaurants and a convenient cash machine. Again, there is a convenient bus available for your ease which will take you all through this lovely village, which is free with your lift pass. To truly see all of the stunning area, make the most of the bus, which also takes you the other direction to Jochberg and pass Thurn.
The Après Ski scene is buzzing and the lively,cosmopolitan nightlife is endless with suggestions to try the Flannigans Irish Bar ,The londoner for live music nightly, or the Pavillion Bar and Highways Bar.If your looking for a more quieter night then the Take Five CLub Aurach in many of the hotel and questhouses offer a relaxed drink in the evenings.
Your most definetly not going to get bored in Kitzbuhel and if you fancy trying your hand a something other than skiing then there are a number of fun,family activities for everybody including indoor tennis and squash,cross country skiing, or take a family sleigh ride,and the ice skating provides hours of fun.There is also a fitness studio for those looking to keep their fitness levels up or the 25m Aquarena pool with large fun pool is a must for the children.If you have a full lift pass there is a 50% reduction .

For wining and dining you have the best of both worlds in both Aurach and Kitzbuhel.In Kitzbuhel you could try the Pizzeria Pfiff for spectacular pizzas ,tradional 3 course meals, huge selection of cafes to try and other restaurants with a whole host of cuisines to try and are very reasonably priced too.
For all other amenities you can find a bank and supermarket in Aurach and in Kitzbuhel there are musuems, banks ,supermarkets ,shops and boutiques and a casino aswell.
