Hotel Stefanihof has been welcoming British guests for many years, thanks to its warm and welcoming ambiance that makes you feel as if you are visiting your home-from-home in Fuschl. Located in a convenient position, the hotel is just across the road from the lake and 200m from the main bathing area on the beach. For those that want to enjoy the sand, the main beach is easily accessible and for those that want to discover the local area, you can explore using the hotel's bikes.
After a day catching up on the latest blockbuster or cycling around then come back and take advantage of the great features in the hotel. Why not enjoy a drink in the relaxing lounge-bar with open fireplace or head outside to the beer garden. You can enjoy gorgeous views of the lake from the cafe or unwind in the sauna (extra charge). There is also live music every week and FREE internet for all guests.
If you're feeling peckish then never fear, Hotel Stefanihof will cater for all your needs. Set yourself up in the morning with a delicious buffet breakfast and round off the evening with a mouth-watering three course evening meal with choice of main course. You can enjoy one FREE drink with your evening meal (small beer, wine or soft drink). There is also a daily salad buffet and a tantalising weekly gala dinner.
The hotel has 17 bedrooms in total and those for two people on half board sharing a small room contain Austrian twin beds, shower, wc, hairdryer, satellite TV and safe. Also on offer are standard rooms, some with a balcony and/or lake view and single rooms fully equipped with shower, wc and balcony. The hotel does not have a lift.
Please note that there is a double bed and limited space in the small DBL PSWCBL rooms.

We have now taken family hollidays in this hotel for ten years now, often visiting on more than one occasion during the year.
The lake is reputed to be the cleanest in Europeand we have never had any reason to doubt this. It is quite an experience to dive into the midle of such a beutiful freshwater lake, to be surounded by mountains on two sides, a picturesqu village on a third anfd the historic Schloss Fuschle at the other.
For thos who, like us, enjoy walking the meadows and mountains are outstanding. the hikes vary between a gentle afternoon's stroll round the lake to aan all day endurence test reaching the top of the zwolferhorne or Schober.
The hotel itself is friendly and comfortable with a good standerd of English being spoken.
We have always enjoyed the food and the bar seldom seems to close while there is anyone about!
All the rooms are comfortable and clean , most if not all enjoying excellent views. It is a special treat to with ones feet up, on the balcony enjoying the sight of the buzzards soaring over the mountains, relaxing after a long days walking. (Even more so if its been a long days shoppingh in Salzburg- a convenient ride on the plentiful public transport.
All in all, our ideal location and a wonderfuly friendly hotel.
