A great destination for visitors who enjoy a large range of outdoor activities, Lech is a beautiful base to explore this region in western Austria. There is even the possibility of taking a rowing boat out on one of the lakes nearby,try your hand at carving wood, hiring a mountain bike or even taking a diving course. The village itself is a great area to spend time as the extensive array of culture that is to be seen includes concerts and a local folklore evening - for that true Austrian experience.
There are over 250km of marked trails in Lech, and you can get advise from the Tourist Office on different routes or guided tours.Or if your feeling particulaly lazy then take the mountain lift for a spectacular view of the pretty streams and woodland areas.

The best visiting time would be before late-June, where the resort is quieter, although some of the activities and facilities such as buses and the leisure centre may not be available at this time.
