There are over 900km of marked paths to follow here in the Stubai Valley and it is 7th heaven for the walkers,who can enjoy Nordic walking,or a real challenge with some high altitude mountaineering, and during the warm summer months you could stop for some light refreshment in the traditional huts in the mountains.But if you are just looking for a lighter stroll then the use of the summer lift up the mountain is a easier option to soak up the spectacular views.There is a Stubaital Card which will give the walkers unlimited access to all the lifts.
If your not a keen walker,then dont worry as there are lots of great activites for the whole family to enjoy, which include bowling , Fishing, minigolf,a game of tennis or use of the indoor and outdoor swimming pools. For the more adventurous try your hand at paragliding or hire a mountain bike and explore one of the many challenging routes up into the mountains.(There are grades to suit all abilities).

For a day out , and a more leisurely approach you could visit the 'Birds Of Prey' centre in Telfes or the BlackSmith Museum in Fulpmes.There are also carriage rides which will thrill the whole family and a chance to take in more fantastic views.The younger children are also very well catered for here in the Stubai Valley and can have hours of fun in the free Mickey Mouse summer club,run by qualified child carers with excellent activities for them to enjoy.(children 5-13years inclusive)
