You can take the convenient bus service to Worgl (25 mins), and from there you catch the train to Innsbruck, and Auffach (15 mins) and a bus and/or train to Kufstein (40 mins). To experience and absorb plaecs of interest, take the 'Bummelzug' or slow mini train along the quiet roads into the valley.

Fer a more gentle stroll, go from Niederau to Oberau, which provides a peacefull flat valley walk. Once at the top of the cable car in Niederau, you will find several gentle stroll routes to take.
Ramblers:
There are many more challenging walks, high and low level peaks providing a variety of forest, road and track terrain.
Hikers:
The highest peak in the Wildschonau provides a good evergetic days hiking. This is called the Sonnjoch or the Grosser Beil (2309m).
