Its 110 residents make Stuben the smallest of the five Arlberg Ski Area villages. Its Albona lift connects directly to the St. Christoph and St. Anton resorts, and you can also profit from a ski bus which is free with your lift pass, which will take you to Lech and Zürs.
Stuben is tucked away at the base of the Albona mountain, so naturally the scenery surrounding the resort is stunning. The north facing slope offers fantastic ski conditions virtually throughout the entire December - May season! Since the birth of Alpine skiing, the resort has also been associated with winter sports. In 1890 the Ski pioneer Hannes Schneider was born in the village, and his brother founded Ski School Stuben in 1924. The school continues to offer excellent quality tuition in both skiing and snowboarding to this day. The skiing at the resort includes a nursery area, making it the perfect location for first timers. The location is also perfect for exploring Alberg, both by piste or with a local guide.

Holiday Reviews in Stuben, Austria
The village itself is small, traditional and charming and the Apres Ski isn't the buzzing cosmopolitan scene you find in some resorts, but perhaps that is one of the features which make Stuben so special. The traditional bars found in the hotels are quaint and friendly, and what really makes the resort special is the fact that many of the hotels are literally at the foot of the slope - access to the pistes has never been easier.
Activities includes wine tasting in the hotel and there is weekly tobogganing, which is great for the children ,especially as this resort is great for families. For children from 4years the local ski school offers ski tuition. There is also a nursery area which has a magic carpet lift and begiiner tow and is close to the resort centre.
