Montgenèvre is part of the fantastic Milky Way ski area and it offers some of the best skiing in the world. Due to the resort's prime location there is the chance to ski in Italy as well as France, and as well as all this, the village retains its traditional and charming centre. Just fifteen minutes away from the Italian border, the Grand Galaxy lift pass extension covers the Franco-Italian Milky Way ski circuit with more than 400km of great pistes to choose from. You will also be able to venture further a field with a day's skiing in Serre Chevalier, Les Deux Alpes, Alpe d'Huez and Puy St Vincent. Furthermore, Montgenèvre hosts a festival in January which is not to be missed. During the three weeks you will enjoy the cinema,jazz musice, theatre and cabarets every evening.
During the rest of the year, the Apres Ski is informal and good value. Popular spots include Le Graal and Club Bluenight which boasts a lively nightclub atmosphere. You should also visit Pub Chaberton, le Tourmandre and Les Rois Mages during your stay.

| Set in a fabulous location at the heart of the resort is the high-quality Chalet Etoile des Neiges, which benefits from its own private swimming pool on the ground floor and a gorgeous living/dining room with a log fire.
Keen skiers will love the chalet's position as it is just 2 minutes' stroll from the main ski lifts and nursery slopes and only 4 minutes' walk to the ski school meeting point - so hitting the slopes nice and early couldn't be easier.
After an exciting day powering down the pistes you'll find the chalet offers a host of facilities to help you relax including an attractive indoor swimming pool, lovely bedrooms which each boast private facilities, a spacious and stunning living/dining room with log fire and the excellent services of the chalet host.
Rooms are based on two people sharing a twin room with private shower and WC. Rooms with a private bath and WC are eligible for supplement. Chalet Etoile des Neiges sleeps 12 people and the layout is as follows:
On the ground floor you'll find a living/dining room with log fire, three twin bedrooms each with their own private bath and WC (rooms 1-3). On the first floor you'll discover two double bedrooms, each with a private bath and WC (rooms 4 and 5) plus one bijou twin bedrooms, under the eaves, with private shower and WC (room 6).
Kick-start your magical morning with a deliciously hearty breakfast, stop your tummy grumbling with some tasty afternoon tea and when the evening rolls round you can tuck into a sensational three course meal with local wine and coffee included.
