Surrounded by over 180 km of piste, known for its perfect snow conditions, The Domaine de la Fôret Blanche is one of the largest and most famous skiing areas in the southern Alps. Risoul, the biggest resort village in the area, enjoys an informal nightlife and an easy access to the slopes. More great descents can be enjoyed at the nearby historically rich village of Vars, which is easily reachable by public transport. Risoul is wonderful for doorstep skiing, and, on these beautiful sunny slopes, it is definitely something to be enjoyed to the fullest.
The apres ski here is a relaxed and a laid back affair, with a selection of bars open for entertainment at most times of the day and night. The Morgan nightclub is the perfect venue for those, wanting to dance the night away. Basic accommodation, good food, excellent staff and excellent location. the staff couldn't do enough to make us feel welcome and cared for (the manager even walked to our coach stop to welcome us and help carry bags.)
