St Sorlin, a charming village in the Les Sybelles skiing area, is a perfect alternative to many crowded and expensive resorts in the same part of the Alps. There are constant improvements being made to the well-groomed slopes as well as to the lifts leading up to them.

Plenty of bars, such as La Petite Ferme and L'Avalanche, will cater perfectly for nice drinks after a long day on the slopes, while the more active ones may enjoy a dance until the small hours at the D'Sybelle Club.
The resort is also well equipped for other types of fun in the snow. Participate in a guided snow shoe walk through the majestic surrounding landscape, or take a husky dog sleigh ride. Other popular activities include paragliding and skidooing. The area is also rich in great shopping opportunities, with wonderful boutiques lining the distinctively-Savoyard streets. Visitors can also enjoy a guided tour and tasting at a local cheese producer, for which this area of France is especially famous.For eating out you can choose between having a delicious pizza or pasta meal or a full 3-course meal,all of which are extremely well priced,try there fondues or the very tasty La Gargoulette Creperie,and if you like to join the locals then the La Table de Marie Restaurant is great for therre traditional meals.

St. Sorling is a great choice for families, with a ski kindergarten available for booking on site. Children as young and 3 years old can enjoy tuition in an especially designated area. The Petits Diables crèche, comfortably located at the very village centre, offers full daycare for children from 3 months to 5 years old at a very accessible price.
