After undergoing major renovation in 2001-2002, Kerkyra Golf Hotel is now one of the most stunning hotels in Corfu. This peaceful haven offers the perfect place to completely relax and unwind, being situated in 93 acres of exquisitely landscaped gardens and lying near a gorgeous beach that is just a stone's throw away from the front door. One of the most popular resorts in Corfu, the hotel occupies arguably the best location on the island. If you love golf you'll be pleased to know there's an 18-hole golf course 15km from the hotel.
At the end of a relaxing day unwinding on the beach or by the pool, indulge in a delicious buffet in one of the two restaurants the hotel has to offer. Why not kick-start your morning with a hearty American buffet breakfast and tuck into something a little different at one of the themed evenings when the day draws to a close. You will find the second restaurant next to the pool which serves a buffet lunch and you can enjoy snacks on the terrace in the summer months. On top of all that there are three bars at the pool and beach to rejuvenate you at any time you like!

We travelled as a party of 10 (16 to 51 years) and had a fantastic time at this lovely hotel. The hotel is tastefully decorated and furnished and kept beautifully clean at all times. The public areas are light and airy with plenty of seating.
The food was the best we've had at an all inclusive hotel - the quality and choice was vast for all three main meals plus a huge variety of snacks served throughout most of the day. I cannot believe than anyone, even the most picky of eaters, would not find something they liked every meal time.
The bars are staffed by very efficient and friendly people and we never had any trouble queuing or obtaining more than one drink per person at a time.
The bedrooms are spacious with plenty of hanging and drawer space and contain tea and coffee making facilities, a small fridge with complimentary bottled water every day and TV showing several English speaking channels (okay, so mostly American news channels) plus BBC World News but who goes on holiday to watch TV??
The grounds are very pretty with plenty of grassed areas if you do not want to be directly by pool. I would have liked a slightly larger pool but at the time we went in June it was not too crowded but I imagine it might be more of a problem during peak summer when more children would be on holiday. The beach isn't very wide but perfectly ample and yes there is some weed growing just on the shore line but once you've waded in a few feet it disappears and the sea is lovely and sandy below foot.
The only draw back to this hotel is it's in a very quiet resort with the nearest bars and restaurants a good 15 minutes walk in either direction so if you want a change of scenery it's a walk or a 10 minute taxi ride to Corfu Town. The hotel is on a bus route to Corfu Town and we did travel in by bus once but they do tend to be crowded and the taxi fare is only 10 Euro per car.
Day time activities consisted of the usual water polo, archery, darts, volley ball, football and water aerobics but the animation were just a joy and so friendly (without being pushy) it was hard not to want to join in. The evening entertainment was not particularly thrilling but never boring and as we were such a large party it didn't particularly matter to us.
A very nice hotel for a relaxing, chill-out week long holiday but for those staying longer a hire car would be essential in order to get out and about mainly because of the lack of other facilities nearby, but we would certainly return.
