The cafes, bars, pubs, nightlife and restaurants in Platanias are just six kilometres away, whilst the nearest supermarket is half a kilometre away. A local bus service goes from outside the hotel every half an hour. A free bus takes guests to Chania three times each day, except for Sundays and bank holidays.

the hotel it self is actually quite old, and it is in a very quite area with not much to do,the food was good,but there was a big problem with wasps around the pool were you get soft drinks,no one seemed to care abot this, holiday reps, or hotel management,also the pools were not that clean,remember this hotel is run by the same chain were them 2 children died by carbon monoxide poisioning from a faulty boiler,i would not go back there again,its boring,unless you have a car, crete is nice but not that resort.

Holiday Review this was our first family holiday for a couple ofyears we have four children so we needed 2 rooms but requested quite rooms so were given 2 bungalow right buy the beach! every morning i could open the patio doors and watch the beautifull sea it was lovley!.the beach was ok but there are lots of very large stones only a small amount of sand but still a very very nice hotel and view and the kids still made sand castles. the rooms were cleaned every day with clean towells every day. the staff were very friendly and great with the kids. the kids club was on 3 times a day so there was lots of time to spend relaxing for the adults!.... the pool was fantastic there was two huge freeform pools so the smaller children had so much area to play in as there wasnt really a deep end. but also there was a toddler pool and a deeper adult pool if you want it..the food was available all day round the pool a bbq starts at 10am! so if you miss breacky you can have some food there were they served lovley fresh salads bbq meats and fish till 3pm. there was also a pizza bar and chinese all very nice with lots of choice... in all the hotel was really good we would love to go back there again and i would recommend this hotel to any one and firstchoice was great!!.please go your love it the greek people are very friendly. Quality 4 * hotel and i would say it is a 4 *hotel very clean and nice Service very good Location maleme, didnt go out of the hotel as we were only there a week, but we did get the free bus to chania town to look around the markets and stuff there was a lovely harbour to get boat trips from to go to ireland hoping or just a glass bottom boat. we were there on 3rd june and it hotter as the week went on but was very chilly in the evenings! for some reason we were very close to the sea so pack a cardy! weather in day great. Food as above in review Entertainment wasnt great but the animations team were funny and friendly so that didnt matter. there was a mini disco for the kids.
