| Chris Bennett said, "If you choose to visit the Apollo Apartments you may risk disappointment - if you don't like a wonderful location (perched on a cliff top, with views to Zakynthos to the south and the Greek mainland to the east) Spotless, comfortable rooms most of which have an excellent outlook. Well-tended gardens. A good sized pool that is never crowded. the convenience of a poolside bar/snackbar, and being looked after by a very pleasant and helpful family.
The location, (apprximately 3 kilometres from Skala town centre) is, on balance, a bonus and not a problem. Although taxis are relatively cheap, you might like to condider hiring a car for all or some of your stay. You would then have greatly improved access to more than just the nearest beaches and be able to tour the Island at your own pace.
We have been going to the Apollo for many years and would not consider staying anywhere else on Kefalonia as I'm sure that we would be disappointed if we did.
