Stayed in the rodos maris for 2 weeks with our 2 teenage children. Kiotari is a quiet area, stunning with fab. views. Good bus links outside the hotel to all parts of the island, taxis always available and car hire. Large resort, mainly bungalows and 2 storey units in lovely gardens and walkways. Beach, which is mainly sand and shingle just 50 metres away- need to cross a road but saying that , the road is so quiet you could lie down and sunbathe on it. Rooms and hotel very high standard of cleanliness, we stayed in a double room with 2 extra single beds for the kids, plenty of space, room 940 with large balcony, pool and a beautiful seaview! only thing was that part of the nightly family enterainment was held just below our room. This went on until 12 am. and may have been a problem if you have young children but hey your on holiday! T.V with scart connection which meant the kids could use their playstation and watch DVDs late in the evening. Mini-fridge which was refilled every other day with 2 fanta lemon, 2 orange ,2 soda, 2 beer and large water, this was a lovely bonus. Main rest. lots and lots of varied dishes for every meal, crepes to die for and the most creamy desserts , forget about keeping an eye on the calories. Indoor swimming pool, good size, with tables and chairs and drinks bar with icecream and snacks such as pizza, rolls,cakes burgers etc. Pool bar and beach bar serve snacks too, service can be a bit slow at times. Chinese rest. Greek rest. and Taverna all included in the price .Need to book these between 8 and 8.30am for the following night. Pool tables free of charge, computer games and internet access for the kids beside a pavement cafe which also served drinks! A few shops, which offer good value within the complex. Many steps and marble which means be careful and dont run!, some areas would not suit those with a disability. All in all the best value allinclusive we have had . rhodes is a beautiful island, visit Lindos and the Old Town, the history is amazing. Planning our return next summer. P.S no mosquitos.
