Lido di Jesolo is a cosmopolitan Adriatic resort, wonderfully balancing beautiful beaches, an exciting nightlife and many great shopping areas. The pristine sandy beaches stretch for miles, leading into beautiful azure waters, making bathing easily accessible and highly pleasurable. The lagoon, in which the city is located, is rich in spectacular islands which can be explored by booking one of the many excursions available. Lido di Jesolo is in itself a very desirable destination, but what makes it more so is its proximity to other famous Italian cities. The romantic canals of Venice, for example, are only a 40 minute bus journey away.
The resort has an excellent variety of designer boutiques and local shops which stay open until the late hours of the evening. The animated Italian atmosphere can especially be felt during the evening hours, when people spill out onto the streets and head to the many restaurants, pizzerias, cafes and bars in the area. During the day, why not enjoy a lovely walk by the sea on one of the many quiet beaching and have lunch in one of the fresh fish restaurants?
On the 15th August there is a fantastic firework display called 'Ferragosto' not to be missed and the 'Festa del Redentore in mid july provides a colourful display of gondoliers along the Grand Canal.There is a vast amount of other facilties to be found so you will also be able to find a Doctor & Pharmacy, Post Office,numerous Banks, Cafes/Restaurants and nightclubs to keep you entertained all night long.

For a quiet and lazy stroll,the Lido di Jesolo beaches at either end will provide this,or you might like to go a bit further and walk to cortelazzo which is a sweet fishing village,and if you've had enough walking for one day, you catch the bus home at the end of the day.
There is a number of excursions available for those, wanting to explore
Italy further. Buses can whisk you away towards Florence, Verona or Cortina. There are also opportunities to visit the nearby Austrian towns. However, the main attractions of Lido di Jesolo are, undeniably, some of the most spectacular beaches of the Adriatic sea.
