You will also be able to find the general facilites here,with beautiful spots to enjoy a bite for lunch in the cafes or a 3- course evening meal in one of the many restaurants.There is a Bank, Post office, Doctor & Pharmacy,plenty of Shops and a excellent ferry servcies that will take you across the lake for a day out to explore.You could also use the local bus service which is linked to the picturesque town of Gargnano.

For the keen walkers,Maderno is the perfect locaton for strolling and taking in the wonderful views and sights across the lake .A walk along the promenade is a treat in itself,as it is one of the longest around.
If you stll have time to fit in some more sightseeing then are some excursions sure to be enjoyed,all of which can be pre booked,and some suggestions are the Dolomites, a wine tour, Venice by night,or day trip to Florence.
For a twin centre suggestion then you might like to try 7days in Maderno and the following week in Selva, and you are able to transfer to your second centre by coach or minibus.
