| eileen laird said, "We arrived for Christmas at Hilton ST. jULIAN/S to a lovely welcome---- beautiful hotel with elegant furnishings------ room not as high as requested but changed without any bother. staff very attentive and pleasant. gala dinner was fantastic. what a selection of beautifuully prepared food ,everything you could wish for- beautiful music was olayed by local orchestra. in the hotel every evening there was music either a pianist or a little group playing the mandolin and accordion--it was very romantic. room was very good --can/t say that about the weather though. the lounge with a lovely domed ceiling is a lovely place for a drink-- to the relaxing tones of a marvellous pianist. drinks are expensive with a bottle of water at £3 but you are pating for the surroundings The Hiolton breakfasts are great too .with a wide choice of food to suit everyone. The Living Well club is very good with a large pool and excellent sauna and steam facillities. it was good just to venture down there in you/r towelling robe provide in the room/ the ratio of staff was I thought very good and they were on their toes at all times to make everthing fine for you/re comfort.---- Though not taken on with Malta as a holiday destination I am glad we were at the Hilton St. julian/s for a grat week." Fridge, large bathroom, hairdryer and balcony. It was cleaned daily and towels changed if required. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
