There is a great collection of some small quaint villages that are surrounding the pretty Lake Bohinj and have the spectacular views of the Julian Alps as a back drop.The main ski area of Vogel is close to the lake so there are plenty of waterbased activites on offer and some superb slopes for the intermediate and beginner skiers .There is a excellent ski school at hand for anybody looking to perfect their skills and after a hard days skiing you can relax in one of the many restaurants and Inns, try the local specialities and drinks and soak up the charm and beautiful views of this wonderful winter destination.
