The peaceful village of Bohinj is flanked on either side by the impressive peaks of the Julian Alps. The views from the village, as you would expect from such a location, are fantastic. Bohinj itself is a scattering of little hamlets with hotel and houses situated along the dense woods. Ribcev Laz is also well equipped with bars, cafes, restaurants, and exchange bureau, post office, and supermarket.
