The Hotel Continental Park is ideal for families, benefitting from a fabulous eight-mile stretch of golden sandy beach which is the longest in Majorca. A good standard of accommodation with centrally controlled air-conditioning awaits guests, and the vast array of activities on offer from the Thomson FamilyClub means that all will have plenty to do.
The beach is a hundred metres away, as are the shops, bars and restaurants, and Alcudia is just a short bus ride away, two kilometres from the accommodation, which is between Playa de Muro and Puerto de Alcudia.

What can i say...
This is the 3rd trip to Hotel Continental Park in 4 years, and as you will have probably read there has been some changes, the main change is thats its not a Thomson Super Family hotel anymore and whilst i agree this was refelected in the hotel entertainment, which was my ONLY criticism.
NOW ! For those who are planning on going to this hotel or have booked and seen some of the poor reviews, IGNORE THEM.. This is a fantastic hotel. From the reception and an english receptionist SUE, who is both a great help and speaks fluent spanish to the restaurant staff and bar staff, they could not be faulted. The great changes are that the hotel is all inclusive, and the soft drinks, beer, red white and rose wine are all SELF SERVICE, you wont have to queue. The hotel is kept lovely and clean and the rooms were cleaned daily. There are 2 lifts in the hotel and 3 internet booths, 1 euro for 10 mins use. There are 2 pools of which one is a kiddie pool and plenty of tables and sun loungers. The food in the hotel which has been criticised in previous reviews is actually very nice, plenty of choice for breakfast and evening meal and burgers and cold food choices for lunch, there is plenty of room in the restaurant, you would always get seated.
The rooms arent huge, but they are only somewhere to sleep, you will get used to them. Air conditioning comes on in the room at 3pm, so you can have a nice siesta.
There is plenty to do in alcudia, Thomson offer plenty of trips, the Pirates is fantastic. This year we did the Palma Plus trip, which was palma cathedral and shopping in Palma. There is a Burger King right outside the hotel if your missing home and plenty of bars and restaurants around you. There is a family bar called CHEERS, which is left out of the hotel, turn right at the end of the street and 150m in front of you.
If you go left out of the hotel and left at the end of the road to the main road, you are 50m from the beach, plenty of shops, bars and restaurants, also a taxi rank, which will only cost 6 euros to Alcudia Port, where you can find more shops, bars, restaurants and you can catch the SEABUS back to the beach near the hotel for 10 Euros for 2 adults and a child.
Again, if like us you got a letter saying there has been changes to the hotel, keep an open mind, we were not disappointed and will definately go again
