The city of Lugano can be found located on the bay of Lake Lugano nest to the very impressive Monte San Salvatore.Lugano boasts hours of glorious sunshine and tree lined promenades,great for evening strolls.It also has a typically Italian feel,with a traffic free centre ,historic features and plenty of cobbled narrow streets filled with galleries,arcades, cafes and magnificent churches.
In Lugano you can do as little or as much as you like,browsing the shops and boutiques is a great way to soak up the sun and smells of the food from the pretty pavement cafes,or there are plenty of scenic walks from Monte Bre to Monte Broglia. Hiring a mountain bike is a fun and great way to explore further with 300km of superb tracks to follow.There is also an adventure park and karting track ,keeping the children impressed too.If you really want to put your feet up and take some great snapo shots across the lake then you could also take a trip on the boat,for some winding down time.
