The resort of Villars is a delightful destination and has spectacular views to Mont Blanc.In a sunny area ,boasting well looked after pistes its heaven for the intermediate skiers and the nursery slopes in the village or the mountain railway to Bretaye are fabulous for the beginners to.Boarders will also enjoy the large area that the lift pass covers with great snow ,its the perfect spot to show off your skills.
The Apres Ski is what you want to make it here in Villars,there is a warm and comfortable atmopshere and you could snuggle down for an early night with a hot drink ready for tomorrows day of skiing or you could enjoy the great variety of bars and stay up all night ,ski off the piste into L'Arrivee or try out charlie's and murphy's and if you've got your dancing feet on then a late night is a certainty in El Gringos.
If you fancy a rest from skiing for the day but still want to do something energetic then you could try one of the many activities on offer here including snow shoeing, ice skating, ten pin bowling, or the use of the indoor swimming pool, indoor tennis squash or a work out at the fitness centre.

Villars is also a great resort for families and there is a local creche in the centre called 'La Trottinette' ,this is for the children aged 6months to 6years old. The 3-8years can have fun at the ski kindergarten run by the Swiss Ski School,where they have a great indoor play area,lunch and drinks.( full or half days are available ).
