    Holiday Review

First impressions were very favourable, but under the surface lay a very different hotel, or should I say very indifferent hotel. The chambermaid was good, some of the staff were ok, but most of them couldn't care less. They seemed to find it too much trouble to do the job they were paid for, and the management were non-existant. Now for the best bit, the food was rubbish, we ate out most of the time so all-inclusive was a joke. I would only use this hotel for self-catering, but as that option is not there it seems that I won't be going back.

Loveley Hotel wonderful views from the rooftop restaurant, most staff very obliging, except for waiters at beach bar who constantly ignored people waiting to be served yet rushed to serve others who had just arrived and seemed aquainted with, tried it twice then gave up.Ala carte restaurant was a joke was shown fixed menu,no choices my wife discussed it with the waiter, yet when food arrived most of the courses were different, when we asked why was told that we had been shown yesterdays menu. Next courses put on table before we had finished previous course food poor but it was an improvement on the food available in the rooftop restaurant which was dreadful, apart from the bread and eggs which were excellent, depending on time you ate you would have to wait for cups and glasses on most visits. Several waiters asked me if I had enjoyed the food when I told them no they smiled and walked away. I marked average for value and overall because of the food and we had to eat out to get a good meal if you do eat out try Our House restaurant on the main strip food excellent prices good welcome and service as good as you will get anwhere.

    Holiday Review

Four of us went on Easy Cruise Life holiday, with the first week staying at the Asarlik. I can honestly say instead of being excited going on the cruise the 2nd week, we loved the hotel so much, we were sad to leave it. The top marks for this hotel go towards the setting and beautiful scenary and being right on the beech, the next important thing for us was the food which was unbelievable, every type of food you could think of and to suit every taste. The staff made our holiday and made us feel like long lost friends, we cried when we left and new then that we would continue to go back to this hotel. Thank you Salih (head waiter) for making our holiday. You will see us there again this year and we hope your new baby is doing great. There are so many bars and restuarants here you are spoilt for choice. Only one thing that I didn't like, I was given treatments for a sore neck and back which made me worse, I went to customer relations and althought they took lots of notes, I was never compensated or even given the price of the treatments back! so be careful. Failing that all the staff were great and I would thoroughly recommend this place, especially the view from the restuarant on the roof. Carole

The Royal Asarlik Hotel is a very good Hotel, with a kindly and proffessional staff, particularly I can recommend The Front Manager Mr. Ysuf Babacan and The Guest Relations Manager Miss Arzu Bicakci Yigit, who always are ready to help you, even with small problems. We hae been at the Royal Asarlik Beach Hotel three times, last in may 2008, and we will come there again in may 2009, and this time we have invited our grown-up children an theirs sweethearts. Earlier we have invited some good freinds and our parents. So yes, we really like this Hotel.
The Hotel can bee proud at the heig standard, the staff, the service, the restaurant on the roof, which is really wonderfull, the food, the bars, the cleaning and most of the rooms. The rooms have a very good but different standard. We have always staid at 2. floor with pool-/seawiew and balkon. Somebody will say, that the pool is to small, perhaps, but you will find the beach just 50 m from the Hotel. Both have free chairs and towels.
So apart from the loud music at the pool area (please turn it down), is it a very wonderfull Hotel, which we only can recommend.

    Love Gumbet! Love Asarlik!

Just about to go on our 3rd trip to the Royal asarlik beach hotel. Absolutely love it here! There something for everyone, as i'm 18 and i go with my parents and my friends and everyone loves it. Staff are great and very friendly.
Lunch time down by the beach is nice-cocktails and chicken kebabs... all afternoon-HEAVEN! haha
Excellent evening entertainment on the panorama bar with breakdancers and belly dancers etc. Very good variety of food in the restaurant, always something for everyone.
Only bad thing i would say about this hotel are the guests, at evening meal time you would think some people could make an effort to dress up a little, this is a waiter service restaurant, not McDonalds- they should keep the shorts and vests at the pool.
Can't wait to get there on the 15th sept!

wouldn't be disappointed if you picked this hotel!

    The best holiday ever

This is my 5th visit to Gumbet but first time at this hotel, it was the first time for my boyfriend though,
We arrived at the hotel late aternoon on the 3rd of may, the hotel only opened for the season on the 28th of april and we were only the 15th guest to arrive, myself being 24 and my boyfriend 26 thought it might be to grown up for us as when we walked in , standing there at reception was a bell boy waiting to carry 50kg of luggage up to your room , but before hand we recieved a coctail whist we signed for our room which was very refreshing.

The room was lovley, with a gorgeouse view of Gumbet bay.
After check in we went to the resturant on the roof with amazing views of all Gumbet, all the waiters and staff greeted us as we walked in to the resurant, the food was very continentle, although always have chips so its safe, in the afternnons between 12.30-5.00 they serve chicken kebabs, salad, and pizza's downstairs at the beach bar which is very yummy.
Would'nt recommend the a'la carte though the food is very salty.

Drinks are availibal all day times very for differnt bars though but the beach bar is 24 hours.
If you don't like the breakfast, no worries take a walk along the beach a couple of metres to mels place the best english brekkie in Gumbet ! only £3.

The sunbeds by the pool are like beds they are made out of soild wood so wont tip over when you sit on them.
Whilst your bathing you can take advantage of the free drinks, what annoyed me wasn't the staff it was the customers ,the staff dont have to ask you if you want a drink whilst your lying on your backside taking in the sun but occasionly they do offer ( try asking 500 people what they want ) but people were calling them over like they have paid £2000per head ! hello it was about £500 and they want silver service i hate snobbery , go to the savoy !

Over all though this is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed at and have booked already to go back in a couple of months , and taking my sun as the animation team make it very enjoyable and fun for the kids.

My husband and I stayed at this fabulous hotel in September 2007 for two weeks in our honeymoon. It was the best holiday I have ever had. The staff were so frendly and professionel. The room was quite large and comfortable with a view over the sea. The rooms were of a very high standard and cleaned everyday.
The hotel restaurant was on the rooftop and had fantastic views of Gumbet. The food was so delicious and there was something for everyone.
Overall it would take a lot to spoil your holiday if you choose the Asarlik!!
