My husband and I booked this newly opened hotel and golf resort for a weekend break. Neither of us play golf but their opening offer of £190 for 2 people, b&b plus evening meal in a five star hotel was too good to resist.
The hotel is situated a little outside the main town of Enniskillen but once you are inside it you really don't want to leave to go anywhere! The decor is superb, reminiscent of an old castle but all furnishings are brand new. There are lovely blazing fires throughout and a well stocked library. The bedroom and bathroom were lovely and the bedroom windows had a beautiful view over the lake. The swimming pool, sauna and steam room were perfect for relaxing in. All of the staff, especially the porter , were friendly and polite and the meals were excellent.
You really don't need to be a golfer to enjoy this hotel, although if you are it would be a bonus as they have a superb golf course. As you can tell from this review, we really loved staying in this hotel, so much so, that we have booked again for February 2008!
