With its perfectley groomed slopes and backdrop of the Rockies, Lake Louise offers some of the most finest wide open and above the tree line skiing anywhere.Lake Louise also has a beautiful lake which enhances the superb picturesque skiing,there are three seperated mountain faces which has 11squares miles of fantastic skiing on offer,and a must is a 5mile cruise down the Whitehorn Mountain.In the village you can find an excellent selection of bars and restaurants ,and even though the village is quite small it still carrys a superb vibe and atmosphere to be in.The resort has a policy of making sure that every lift has an easy way down,so the beginners can join in with the more experienced skiers on the slopes to.
The Apres Ski scene can mainly be found in the hotels ,with a fairly quite approach ,however there is a small selection of bars to enjoy a evening drink or two.The choice of restaurants is great to and you will be spoilt for choice ,and are very well priced.
If you fancy a change from skiing for the day then there is an ice skating rink for the whole family to enjoy hours of fun or visit the many museums which are within a short driving distance away.A short drive to Banff would be well worth it to see the beautiful Natural hot springs.But if its just non stop activity you want then you could try many of the superb activites which include dog sledding, snow shoeing, snowmobiling, or a dine and shine torch light descent and there are also trips to Calgary.
