If you want to be near all the themeparks and amusements Florida has to offer, then you'll find nothing better than the Greater Groves Villas. Situated in delightfully landscaped grounds, the villas are only 8 miles west on highway 27 from the Walt Disney World Resort Complex. Renting a villa is like a home away from home and gives you many different advantages from staying in a hotel as you can do everythign to your own timescale with the maximum privacy. For golf-lovers, there's a nine-hole course right around the corner from the villas.
Walt Disney World Resort is just 10 minutes away, while it takes 35 minutes to get to Universal Studios/Sea World. Conveniently close, just 5 minutes away, you'll find restaurants and a place to do grocery shopping. It takes 25 minutes to get to the shopping mall. The golf course is 15 minutes away from the villas.

We have just returned from a fabulous two weeks stay at 1825 Marsh Court, a villa in Greater Groves which is situated at the western end of the I. 192, on the I. 27.
We had never stayed at a privately owned villa in the U.S.A. before, so choosing one from the hundreds on offer was a challenge. We narrowed our choice down to two or three and then selected on the basis of convenience to DisneyWorld, facilities offered and price.
Our choice of 1825 Marsh Court did not disappoint and on arrival we were presented with a lovely looking three bedroom house in a quiet cul-de-sac. A key-pad operated door lock meant not having to worry about keys and you walk into a bright and airy open plan living, dining and kitchen area with light coloured furnishings.
All the mod cons are there including large widescreen tv. with about a million channels, dvd, radio/cd, excellent kitchen and laundry facilities, a lovely en-suite master bedroom with an enormous shower and two sinks plus two other twin rooms with a separate bathroom. The large double bed is one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in.
Everything was immaculate and we soon felt very much at home, almost as if we had lived there all our lives.
The icing on the cake is the beautiful heated swimming pool you walk out to from the living area, so good for keeping an eye on the kids and it gets the sun all day because it is south facing. It is also very private with no other properties able to view into it, something we noticed that a lot of other villas did not benefit from. Luckily there is also an excellent gas B.B.Q. which we used quite a lot since eating outdoors is a rarity at home.
Basic necessities are catered for by a fuel station and shop being located just a few hundred yards from the entrance to Greater Groves, however a huge Walmart supermarket is situated about a mile away at the start of the I. 192. Here you can buy everything even your Disney tickets at a greatly reduced rate, which is what we did on the advice of the villa owner, Liz Petrie.
The villa is only about 15 to 20 minutes drive from all the Disney Parks depending obviously on traffic but what is great about its position is that your journey to Disney World each morning takes you past an excellent variety of restaurants such as Ihop, Dennys, Cracker Barrell etc. where you can eat the mother of all breakfasts which will keep you going all day at the Parks and believe me you will need that sustinence!
So if you want a real home from home to make your stay in Orlando as relaxing and convenient as possible and with lots of luxury and privacy, our advice is to book this wonderful home and really feel as if you are living there, at least for a couple of weeks anyway.
Regards Carlo Mc Closkey and family.
