Known as 'The Greatest Snow on Earth' and also hosted the Winter 2002 Olympics, Park City is the up and coming place to visit and is in the state if Utah.With a great atmosphere and character Park City was once a old mining town which dates back to the 1870's.Park City has some superb skiing areas which are Snowbird, Alta , and Brighton and these are about an hour away from the city itself, Deer Valley and The Canyon make up the last two ski areas and are also covered on the same lift pass ,and can be reached by a free shuttle service taking roughly 10minutes.

Park City is offering some of the best activities and there is something for everybody to participate in with sleigh rides and snowmobiling the children will be entertained for hours, if you fancy something a little more extravagant then you can pre-book a hot air ballon ride and take in some fantastic views over the valleys.If its a spot of retail therapy your after then you wont be disappointed with the main street in Park City as there is an abundance of shops and Factory Outlet stores to hunt for bargains and souvenirs to take home.Try your hand at snow shoeing,heli skiing , ice skating,or perfect your skiing skills with some cross country skiing or ski right on into the night.If your looking for a excursion to go on then the Olympic Park Tour or a visit to the Art Galleries will make a relaxing but interesting day out.
