I stumbled (literally) upon the Royal Mirage Marrakech after having spent the previous 2 evenings nearby at an establishment run by the local authorities. The Royal Mirage beckoned with its fine retinue of entertainment ladies and bottom shelf liquor.

My room was clean enough and everything you'd expect to be in working order, was. Good hot water, flushable to..."

"Morocco luxury" - 4 Stars for Les Jardins De La Koutoubia in Marrakech, Morocco

Anonymous wrote, "We stayed for one week in March. The weather was better than expected (up to 30c). There are a variety of restaurants in the hotel all of which serve nice food but it is not cheap! One of the restaurants (indian/moroccan) had nice food but the service was ridiulously over fussy. The spa is excellent but again charges full european 5 star prices. The hotel is in an excellent location close to the souks etc. However, it was also very quiet despite its central location (the calls to prayer from the adjacent Koutoubia mosque at 5am you get used to!).
We would definitely return to the hotel if we go back to Marrakech."

Me and my wife like to go to Marrakech once a year for a few days.
In the meanwhile it is the 8th time we been in this town.
We prefer to stay in a riad because this is much more Marocco than a classic hotel.
To be honest; This is the best place we have done in all those years.

Quality

Everthing is high quality : the rooms, the service, the food ......"

Anonymous wrote, "We booked for a weeks break and were really looking forward to relaxing in a so called 5 star hotel. We were so unbelievably disappointed with the service we received that we ended up cutting our holiday short!

The staff are rude, simply do not care about their customers, steal from rooms and really have no idea of the meaning of customer service!

We are both keen and seasoned trave..."

Anonymous wrote, "Our family of four spent four days in Jan 2008 at the beautiful Jnane Leila Hotel in the southern Marrakech suburbs. We had been a little nervous about booking as we usually check out our holidays on hotel review websites and found only one review but we decided to have faith and go by the stunning pictures of the hotel complex. Our faith was rewarded as this place is a real gem. The lack..."

The room was lovely, but nearly every day, we found our patio door unlocked, after the maid cleaned, and although we complained it still happened. (there was direct access from outside to our balcony!)
The staff on the front desk didn't speak much..."

"Avoid the Nassim" - 3 Stars for Hotel Nassim in Marrakech, Morocco

Anonymous wrote, "Apart from the food, my experience of the Nassim was not good. The man on reception was unhelpful and rude. The porter who took me to my room kept holding my wrist and pointing things out to me. It was only when he had gone, I felt an 'empty' feeling, and noticed that my watch had gone. If you do choose to stay at this place, avoid the porters like the plague."
